What's Included

Our tour runs for 6-8 hours, taking you on an unforgettable journey through the Scottish Highlands. We will spend two to three-hours driving around and exploring picturesque Loch Ness, whilst stopping by to visit the Historic Villages of Fort Augustus, Invermoriston and Drumnadrochit.

Fort Augustus is a must-visit destination for anyone who wants to experience the stunning beauty of the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen. This tour offers visitors the chance to witness this impressive waterway first-hand. Apart from the mesmerizing views of Loch Ness and the canal, visitors can also explore the Caledonian Canal Heritage Centre and the Clansmen Centre to learn more about the canal and Scottish clans respectively. There are many lovely small cafes, restaurants and coffee shops to stop for a bite to eat whilst enjoying the beautiful scenery. Fort Augustus is also home to many small independent and boutique gift shops perfect for bringing home a gift for that special someone!

Next on the itinerary the village of Invermoriston and the serene Invermoriston Falls, you'll get to take a short walk through a historic Scottish woodland to marvel at the waterfall. Experience the beauty of Invermoriston falls from the Summerhouse built to shelter the laird's esteemed guests while they watched the salmon leaping the falls (depending on the time of year), this stunning summer house overlooks the largest part of the waterfall and provides an enigmatic view of the river which flows directly into Loch Ness. Invermoristons' main attraction is the historic Thomas Telford bridge, built in 1813, crossing the River Moriston falls. Although not part of the main road anymore, its impressive architecture continues to attract visitors from around the world. Immerse yourself in the natural splendour of the Scottish Highlands in the outdoors at this stop. Next we head on to Drumnadrochit.

At Drumnadrochit we will experience the magic of Loch Ness and take in views from the water. We will get to see the ruins of Urquhart Castle, perched on a rocky outcrop overlooking Loch Ness. Admire the castle's strategic setting and take in the incredible views on a small boat cruising out onto loch ness with an expert guide from Deep Scan. After the boat trip we will enter the magical world of The Loch Ness Centre to explore both the Myth and the Legend of Nessie the Loch Ness Monster!
