Inverness City Centre
Afterward, enjoy a 1 hour and 30 minutes stop in the city centre of Inverness for some shopping time where we can recommend the best stops for your group, maybe you fancy trying a little whisky from the whisky shop or perhaps you might want to take in the atmosphere at the traditional Victorian Market, for the book lovers why not visit Leaky's bookstore, the largest second hand bookstore in Scotland!

Clava Cairns
Next, visit the inspiring Clava Cairns to marvel at the 3000 year old burial cairns built by our ancestors, also said to be the inspiration behind the standing stones in the famous Outlander books and TV Series.

Clootie Well
Our last stop of the day time permitting will be a 30-minute visit to the Clootie Well in Munlochy, described as one of the strangest places in Scotland, this deeply fascinating location is said to provide healing to those with sickness or ailments. If you wish we can hold a small ceremony and leave a 'cloot' offering. The origins of this tradition are thought to be from our Pagan ancestors. If bringing your own 'cloot' (piece of fabric or cloth belonging to you) please ensure that this is either pure wool or pure cotton as these are the best for the environment. We need to ensure that your fabric is biodegradable as this is an important part of how the clootie well performs its magic. As the Cloot rots away they say that the illness starts to depart from those who are unwell.

Cawdor Castle
We then head to the enchanting and historic Cawdor Castle to tour the castle and interiors, this stop gives a fascinating insight into how a Scottish Laird would have lived through the centuries.
