Step into the shadows of Scotland’s mysterious past on the Witches Tour: Enchanted Highland Trail — the first tour of its kind in the Highlands dedicated to exploring the real stories of those accused of witchcraft, the landscapes that shaped their fate, and the legacy they left behind. This unforgettable full-day tour is steeped in Highland history, folklore, and spiritual tradition. Journey from Inverness through the Black Isle and Easter Ross to Dornoch, visiting atmospheric sites such as the Clootie Well, the windswept shores of Chanonry Point, and the solemn Witches' Stone, where Janet Horne — the last person in Britain to be executed for witchcraft — met her tragic end. You'll walk beneath trees hung with fabric offerings, hear the tale of the Brahan Seer’s fateful visions, and stand before Dornoch Cathedral, where centuries-old power and persecution once converged. Optional visits to the Historylinks Museum and Rebel Row boutique connect the past with the present, showcasing how Scotland is beginning to remember and honour those once forgotten.
