Yes, some light walking is required at Dunrobin Castle, Carn Liath, and Shin Falls. Paths are generally easy, but we recommend comfortable, weather-appropriate footwear.

 

Are entrance fees included?
Entry to Dunrobin Castle is included in the tour price. All other attractions are free to visit unless otherwise requested.

 

What should I wear?
Layered clothing suitable for Scotland’s changing weather and comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Even in summer, the Highlands can be breezy.

 

Will there be time for food or refreshments?
Yes. We can include a stop at a local cafe, pub, or restaurant along the route. You are also welcome to bring snacks to enjoy in the vehicle.

Yes. Your guide will be with you throughout the day, sharing Highland history, folklore, and insider stories. Exceptions apply where guides are not permitted inside attractions, such as inside Dunrobin Castle’s interior rooms, where you can explore independently.

How far is Invergordon from the main tour sites?
Invergordon is approximately 40–50 minutes from Dunrobin Castle and other main sites. Travel time is factored into your itinerary to suit cruise or local pick-ups.

Are there any accessibility considerations?
Some sites, including Carn Liath and Shin Falls, have uneven terrain and are not fully wheelchair accessible. Dunrobin Castle is not wheelchair friendly due to the historic building layout and many stairs; there is no lift available. Please contact us in advance to discuss any mobility requirements, and we will do our best to accommodate.
